The health, safety and wellbeing of all CASE Space School participants is always the top priority of Actura.

We have been monitoring the statistics and advice from expert agencies and Government bodies around the world regarding COVID-19 (Coronavirus).

Due to the escalating risks, Actura, in consultation with your schools has postponed the CASE Space School July 2020 expedition and is working with affected schools to reschedule to either December 2020 or July 2021.

The December 2020 expedition will still go ahead as planned.

Information Evenings for all future expeditions have been postponed.  We will continue to work closely with schools to reschedule the Information Evenings at a safer time.

CASE Expeditions have an amazing positive life-changing impact on participating students, and we want to make sure that all students will have the opportunity to experience this wonderful program.

In the next 30 years, 75% of the fastest growing professions will require STEAM-related skills. 50% of professions today will disappear, 50% of professions in the next 30 years don’t even currently exist. Young students of today will experience dozens of career changes, and dozens of jobs in each career.

To successfully navigate through this fast-changing environment, students need to master critical STEAM-related skill sets, the seven survival skills. Whereby, students will not only become capable and competitive job seekers, they will become the most innovative job creators.

CASE Space School International Study Program

 

The CASE Space School offers two distinctly unique programs, CASE Junior Space School and CASE Senior Space School.

The CASE Senior Space School, for students in years 10, 11 and 12, is structured to grow leadership, creativity, high-level management, and critical thinking skills; enabling students with the tools to excel in their future careers.

The CASE Junior Space School, for students in years 7, 8 and 9 develops curiosity and interest within the STEAM fields. Training for young explorers in an immersive environment, empowering students to pursue their subjects with passion. 

CASE Senior Space School

Management training for young leaders. Students spend two weeks in Houston, San Francisco and Silicon Valley with incredible access to NASA and innovative technology organisations. They tour NASA and cutting-edge tech start-ups, engage directly with NASA experts to design and plan their own space mission, and apply business management skills in team entrepreneurship training to inspire their innovative futures.

An immersive, experiential program that hones individual leadership, project management and communication skills, while building personal skills and lifelong friendships.

CASE Junior Space School

 

Training for young explorers. In an engaging hands-on adventure, students learn about the development of space-related technology and are lead through several simulated missions where they must work together to overcome challenges and adversity. The inspiring leadership and personal development will motivate students to possess the right attitude and passion for life.

  • Dates: 6 – 19 December 2020
  • Duration: 14 Days
  • Location: Houston, Texas and Huntsville, Alabama, USA
  • Accommodation: 4 star hotel in Houston and on-site in the U.S. Space & Rocket Center, Huntsville
  • Price: $5980 incl GST
    ($115 per week over 12 months)

Price includes tuition fees, admission to program events, accommodation and meals.
